London Calling

It felt like ages since I’d been back in London. A whole lot had changed, but the stuff that mattered had stayed the same. I’ve been staying in the neighbourhood I grew up in, Islington, London N.1 I’ve spent most of my time seeing old friends, and the rest in favourite museums and restaurants.

On Saturday I was in Soho as the special guest at the French jazz singer Florence Joelle’s show at Trisha’s, the hottest nightclub in town. It was great getting to sing one of my songs with a jazz band for the first time.

This coming Thursday 23rd October I’ll be singing at the Green Note in Camden, London, with Jason McNiff, a great folk-Americana singer-songwriter who I’ve played with many times before, Info on my Tour page.
