Leonard Cohen 10 Years gone.

Ten Years Gone

Sometimes it's hard for me to believe it's been ten years since Leonard Cohen died. Go online and his presence is all over the internet , and in the many and various fan clubs around the world, and on the stages where countless tribute artists sing his songs.

As his biographer, I wanted to mark this anniversary with a small, intimate event. So on Sunday, September 6th, I'm doing a free event in the Koret Auditorium at San Francisco's main public library - 100 Larkin St, 3–4pm. I'll talk about Leonard and why he still matters, maybe play a song or two on my uke, and there'll be time for any questions you might ask me, which I'll do my best to answer. I'll bring some books with me too, the paperback edition with the extra chapter I wrote a year after Leonard passed.

HSee you there.
