Neil Part 3

Under a red light.

I've been writing a lot about Neil Young lately - hardly surprising given how often he releases albums. I’ve been talking about Neil too, spreading the word about the updated edition of my book "Neil Young: Reflections in Broken Glass:” that's just come out on Jack White's Third Man Books imprint.

The other day, at home, playing my ukulele, I found myself playing my favourite Neil Young song, Birds -a gorgeous song, soaked in melancholy. And this morning when my little brother - the biggest Neil Young fan I know -called me from England, we ended talking about Neil too. Turns out Birds is his favourite too. Must be in the DNA.
